Bloomington Central Station, by McGough Development, is the first master-planned, transit-oriented development in Minnesota. The station is a high-density, mixed-use redevelopment of the former Control Data headquarters, in Bloomington’s South Loop District. The linkage to regional assets – Blue Line LRT, MSP International Airport, Mall of America, and the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge – as well as the project’s mix of complementary office, hospitality, retail and residential uses provides synergy for a 24/7 urban center.
The station includes:
- 500k square feet corporate office
- 1,650 stall structured parking
- 3 light rail stations in or adjacent to the development
- 2-acre public park
- 300 room Hyatt Regency full-service hotel with Urbana Craeft restaurant & bar
- 263 residential condominiums
- 394 residential apartments
The project plans to include:
- 400 residential apartments (2019 delivery)
- Up to 1.9M square feet additional office towers on six pad sites, all with structured parking
- Retail, restaurant and service amenities
